A joint meeting between the American Society for Reproductive Medicine and the European Society of Human Reproduction and Embryology
Cortina d’Ampezzo, Italy
1 to 3 March 2012
Dear Colleagues,
It is our pleasure to invite you to the first joint meeting organized by the American Society for Reproductive Medicine and the European Society of Human Reproduction and Embryology titled “Best Practices of ASRM and ESHRE - Where we are and where we are going”.
This meeting will take place from the 1st to the 3rd March 2012 in Cortina d’Ampezzo, a world-famous ski resort in Italy.
This meeting inaugurates a project set up by our two societies, who agreed to organize a meeting each year, alternating European and American venues in order to encourage attendance from both continents. Work, of course, will not be the only feature of “Best Practices of ASRM and ESHRE”: these meetings will also provide participants with the opportunity to socialize with colleagues and to enjoy a variety of leisure activities offered by the selected venues.
“Best Practices of ASRM and ESHRE” is a three-day workshop intended to assess the evidence for both established and emerging approaches to the science and art of reproductive health care. Faculty from the American Society for Reproductive Medicine and the European Society of Human Reproduction and Embryology will compare and contrast global procedures and technologies for diagnosis and treatment of reproductive disorders. Learners will discuss advances in a broad array of areas in reproductive medicine, biology and surgery with the ultimate goal of enhancing the quality of patient care and improving outcomes in reproductive health. The workshop is specifically designed to meet the educational needs of both practitioners and scientists. Educational objectives and learning events in the meeting are intentionally broadly designed to include both male and female reproductive health and science including infertility, reproductive endocrinology, reproductive organ surgery, menopause, contraception, paediatric and adolescent gynaecology, mental health, embryology and andrology.
This meeting provides you with the unique opportunity to conjugate attendance to a high quality meeting and the pleasure of a skiing holiday in one of the best ski resorts in Europe.
Its slopes, its breathtaking landscapes and its atmosphere make Cortina the ideal setting for a unique event like this one.
We are looking forward to welcoming you in Cortina.
