How to get there?

Stockholm International Fairs & Congress Center is situated in the southwest area of Stockholm. The center is located favourably in terms of transport facilities and can be reached either by car, or by public transport. From the central station you can reach the fair-site by commuter train in 9 minutes. From Arlanda Airport, it takes less than an hour by car or by bus.

Transport to and from Stockholmsmässan - use your badge!

The SL public transportation logo is printed on all participant badges. All participants will have access to the SL public transportation by showing their badge. The badge is valid from 3 to 6 July 2011 included.

 

Public transport in Stockholm consists of bus, metro, regional/suburban rail, light rail, tram and archipelago boat operation in Stockholm County, Sweden. The bus and rail is organized by Storstockholms Lokaltrafik (Stockholm Transport). 

 

By air

Arlanda Airport is located 42 km north of Stockholm.
The Arlanda Express Train is the fastest way to Stockholm City. The journey takes approximately 20 minutes. Price from SEK 240
Other ways to reach the city:
Taxi: We recommend that you request a fixed price from the airport to the city, approx. SEK 450 - 550.
Bus: There is direct bus connection from Arlanda Airport to the City Terminal in Stockholm. The journey from the airport to central station, takes about 40 minutes. The bus leaves Arlanda airport every 10 minutes. Price from SEK 110

Bromma Airport
Bromma is Stockholm's city airport.
Bus: There is direct bus connection from Bromma Airport to the City Terminal in Stockholm.
Driving time from central Stockholm is approx 20 minutes.
Taxi: We recommend that you request a fixed price from the airport to the city, approx.SEK 220-250.

Taxi

There are many taxi companies to choose from in Stockholm. Approved taxis with metered fares always bear yellow number plates.

 

Public Transport 

Stockholm Public Transportation, SL, is efficient, convenient and safe. Many of the downtown buses run on environmentally friendly fuels such as ethanol. Stockholm Public Transport, SL, runs the buses, subway, commuter trains, trams and some of teh ferry lines in Stockholm county.

Travel to Stockholmsmässan/Stockholm International Fairs
Stockholm International Fairs is located in Älvsjö, at Mässvägen. The most convenient way to get to Stockholm International Fairs, is to take the commuter train from Stockholm Central Station to Älvsjö station. The journey takes 8 minutes and there are 6-8 departures per hour. All southbound trains stop at Älvsjö station.
