Course description

Course description including main topics:
Course will focus on the importance of endoscopic diagnosis and surgery in reproductive medicine.
The course has three important parts:
1. Live surgical teaching of 4-6 hours during two days with interactive live surgery from expert centres demonstrating procedures dedicated to reproductive health
2. Hands on training: evaluation of laparoscopic skills and suturing course
3. Theoretical part: lectures on the most important issues in reproductive endoscopy: diagnostic and operative hysteroscopy, transvaginal laparoscopy, operative endoscopy for myomectomy, endometriosis,reproductive surgery related to ART…

Course objectives
The course intends to give participants more information on the place and interest of endoscopic surgery in reproductive medicine. The course will also offer the participants improved suturing skills and insight into applications during surgery.

Registrations

Registrations are only possible online. Registrations are limited to 22 participants. For availability of places, please check the ESHRE Calendar. 

The following fees apply:

Early registration fees (until 6 November 2012):
1. Members of ESHRE = 800 Euro
2. Non-members of ESHRE = 1000 Euro 

Onsite registration fees (from 6 November 2012 onwards):
1. Members of ESHRE = 900 Euro
2. Non-members of ESHRE = 1100 Euro 

PLEASE NOTE! The preferred methods of payment are either by bank transfer or credit card. Cheques and bank drafts will not be accepted.

Registration fees include:
- Attendance to all sessions
- Symposium syllabus
- Lunch
- Coffee breaks
- Certificate of attendance

Deadline early registration: 6 November 2012. Registrations can only be validated and confirmed when accompanied by payment. Please make sure ESHRE receives payment by this date. Only participants who register before this date, will receive a box with the course material. Participants registered after this date will receive the same course material, but without the box. 

Cancellation policy

All cancellations should be made in writing. An administrative fee of 25 Euro will be charged for all cancellations. Cancellations received after 22 October 2012 will not be refunded.

Certificate of attendance

Participants can only obtain a certificate of attendance after completing the online evaluation. After the course, ESHRE will send an email with an URL where to complete this evaluation.

Social event

A social dinner will be organised on 22 November 2012, registration will be possible onsite.

By Air

From 05:30 till nearly midnight, the Airport City Express links the airport twice an hour with Leuven/Louvain. A one-way ticket from the airport to Leuven costs 3.00 € second class and 4.60 € first class.The train station at the airport is located in the basement (level -1) of the terminal building itself.
