Course description

 
Teaching aims and course description

Course will focus on the importance of endoscopic diagnosis and surgery in reproductive medicine. The course has three important parts:

 

• Live surgical teaching of 4-6 hours during two days with interactive live surgery from expert centers demonstrating procedures dedicated to reproductive health

• Hands on training: evaluation of laparoscopic skills and suturing course

• Theoretical part: lectures on the most important issues in reproductive endoscopy:

- diagnostic and operative hysteroscopy

- transvaginal laparoscopy

- operative endoscopy for myomectomy, endometriosis,reproductive surgery related to ART…

 
Course objectives

The course intends to give participants more information on the place and interest of endoscopic surgery in reproductive medicine. The course will also offer the participants improved suturing skills and insight into applications during surgery.

By Air

From 05:30 till nearly midnight, the Airport City Express links the airport twice an hour with Leuven/Louvain. A one-way ticket from the airport to Leuven costs 3.00 € second class and 4.60 € first class.The train station at the airport is located in the basement (level -1) of the terminal building itself. Timetable information for the Airport City Express is available on the Belgian Railways website (see http://www.b-rail.be/main/E/); enter Zaventem Airport as the departure or destination station.

 

By train

Registrations

Registrations were only possible on-line. Registrations are limited to 20 participants. The course is fully booked.

 

The following fees apply:

1. Members of ESHRE = 700 Euro

2. Non-members of ESHRE = 900 Euro

 

PLEASE NOTE! The preferred methods of payment are either by bank transfer or credit card. Cheques and bank drafts will not be accepted.

Cancellation policy

All cancellations should be made in writing. An administrative fee of 25 Euro will be charged for all cancellations. Cancellations received after 5 February 2010 will not be refunded.
