Comparative Analysis of Medically Assisted Reproduction in the EU: Regulation and Technologies - Final Report 

ESHRE was contracted by the European Commission, DG SANCO, to outline the situation ‘as is’ regarding MAR legislation, reimbursement and MAR establishments in the European Union.
ESHRE’s ability to organise data collection covering most of the 27 EU Member States together with its previously shown MAR-related expertise, has been essential for the collaboration with the European Commission in the scope of this study. Two surveys were conducted among all 27 Member States. The findings of the study and the views expressed are purely those of ESHRE and may not in any circumstances be regarded as stating an official position of the European Commission.
