Françoise Shenfield has been involved in the care of infertile couples for almost 25 years, and has a special interest in the ethical and legal aspects of reproduction, and in particular the European comparative dimension of ART. Her main publications, many as a member of the Ethics and Law taskforce of ESHRE, and as a member of the ethics committee of FIGO are in this field. She has also co- edited 5 books on the subject, the latest published May 2006.
