A few years ago, a textbook for paramedicals was published in the Netherlands (in Dutch). This textbook was well received. It covers specific information related to clinical and laboratory aspects of reproductive medicine, which also made it suitable for use at the level of higher professional education (MSc level).
The Dutch book was the basis for this European textbook in the English language. Mrs. Heidi Van Ranst, past Chair and Mrs. Jolieneke Schoonenberg-Pomper, the current chairperson of the ESHRE paramedical group proposed to translate and rewrite it for a European audience. The Executive Committee of ESHRE embraced this proposal.
