Cross Border reproductive care- information and reflection
organised by the Paramedical Group and the SIG Ethics and Law
ESHRE 2010 Rome
27 June 2010
Next year the PMG will again be running a workshop on the Sunday before the main meeting in Rome. This will be a joint course with the SIG Ethics & Law looking at crossborder reproductive care. Clearly, this phenomenon creates much commotion, but there is an urgent need for more information and reflection on its practice and implications.
The management of infertility – training workshop for junior doctors, paramedicals and embryologists
Kiev, Ukraine
26-27 May 2010
A Campus course on ‘The management of infertility’ designed for junior doctors, paramedicals and embryologists will take place in Kiev in May 2010. This is a tripartite meeting hosted by the SIGs Reproductive Endocrinology and Embryology and the PMG. The course is designed as a first training workshop, which hopefully will be rolled out in other cities as a ‘travelling’ course. For paramedics it is a follow-up course to our basic training course held in Manchester. The course objectives are to provide a solid framework for the investigation and management of infertility.
Basic training workshop for paramedics working in reproductive health
Valencia, Spain
6-8 October 2010
Following the success of our basic training course in Manchester this year, the PMG board has agreed to update the course on a regular basis and export it to different European countries. This is a two-day course for paramedics new to reproduction who wish to improve their basic knowledge of the underlying causes, treatments and psychological aspects of infertility. This year’s course will be held in Spain - and will be simultaneously translated in Spanish.
More information will follow.
