Ms Eline Dancet graduated as a midwife in 2005 and as Master in Nursing and Obstetrics in 2007(Msc.) at the Leuven University. From July 2007 until September 2008 she worked full-time as a Midwife at Leuven University Fertility Centre (LUFC), where she took part in consultation, ultrasound scanning, patient education and clinical procedures. Based on her clinical education as a midwife and scientific education as a Master in Science she detected the need for studies into the patients’ perspective on care. In October 2008 Eline started her PhD on ‘Quality of infertility care from the perspectives of different stakeholders: a tool to benchmark European fertility centres’. Eline’s PhD is promoted by the Leuven University and the Radboud University of Nijmegen, she takes part in patient care and student education at the Leuven University and has started publishing her first findings in peer reviewed journals. In June 2009 her work was rewarded with the ESHRE ‘Nurse Exchange Award’ and in June 2010 she was selected as board member of the paramedical group.
