Anneli Stavreus-Evers has a background as biomedical laboratory scientist. She has a PhD in medicine on the topic of embryo implantation and she is associate professor in reproductive endocrinology at Uppsala University. She is also assistant director at the Centre for Reproductive Biology in Uppsala (CRU) and board member of the Swedish Society of Reproductive Medicine. Her current research interest is focused on endometrial receptivity and embryo implantation. Another research interest is infertility, especially unexplained infertility and endometriosis.
