Expert meeting

Expert meeting in Genk, Belgium, 21-22 November 2011. “Socio-cultural and ethical aspects of biomedical infertility care in poor resource countries”
The Social Science Study group organized a second expert workshop in cooperation with the Walking Egg Foundation, the University of Amsterdam, Amsterdam Institute for Social Science Research and the WHO during which specialists from different parts of the world discussed and inventoried the various socio-cultural and ethical aspects of biomedical infertility care in poor resource areas. At the end of the workshop tools and initiatives which can lead to improved access and follow-up of accessible infertility care in poor resource countries were discussed.

Papers expert meeting in Genk, Belgium, 11-12 December 2009. “Social Aspects of Accessible Infertility Care in Developing Countries”
The Study Group Social Sciences of the ESHRE Special Task Force "Developing countries and infertility” organized this first expert meeting to discuss the social aspects of infertility care in developing countries. This first meeting resulted in a Monograph published in ‘Facts, Views & Vision in ObGyn’.
