Conclusions
Clomiphene Citrate and a short protocol with high doses of gonadotropins lead to similar chances of delivery in women requiring IVF who are diagnosed with a severely compromised ovarian reserve (previous poor response or persistently elevated serum FSH).
Given the lower costs associated with the use of Clomiphene Citrate, this regimen should be first considered in the management of these women.
