 Behavior Modification with Self- management
• Although cognitive behavioral lifestyle programs has been proposed for sustainable weight loss in women with PCOS, self- management type interventions may also be promising
• Self-management is a process by which individuals perform daily activities to manage their health
• Key factors associated with self-management interventions include goal setting, behavior monitoring, and self-evaluation
• A self-management lifestyle modification intervention could be favorable for overweight/obese women with PCOS

  Development of a Lifestyle Modification RCT
• SystemCHANGE (Change Habits by Applying New Goals and Experiences) is a self-management intervention that supports the association between one’s environment and the potential for behavioral change
• Grounded in Brofenbrenner’s Ecological Model
• The intervention focuses on individuals’ micro-level systems of face-to-face influences on adherence to lifestyle modification at home, work, and social circles and meso-level systems
