More than twice as many men as in the overall population suffer from erectile dysfunctions.
According to some studies, premature ejaculation is two to three times more common in infertile men than in the general
population
An Italian study as well as a Chinese study both showed an 18% prevalence of erectile dysfunctions (twice as much as the comparision groups). In contrast, the prevalence of premature ejaculation was lower in the Italian infertile group
(Shindel et al. 2008, Gurkan et al. 2009, Gabr et al. 2017)
but higher in the Chinese group
(Lotti et al. 2012, Gao et al. 2013)
