  Plasma energy ablation
• Ablate the entire inner surface of the cyst wall using coagulation mode set at 10‐40 , at a distance averaging 5mm from the tip of the hand piece.
• Aim to vaporise the endometriotic cyst lining only haemosiderin pigment‐stained tissue is no longer visible.
• No need to vaporise the entire depth of the cyst capsule as endometriotic tissue is present only superficially.
• Take care to treat all areas and to ablate the edges of the invagination site.
  Ovarian endometrioma ablation
Ablation of the inner surface of the cyst is then performed using plasma energy in coagulation mode, at a distance averaging 5 mm from the tip of the handpiece, and with an exposure time limited to 1 to 2 seconds on each site
Care is taken not to leave any untreated sites and to ablate the edges of the invagination site and the corresponding peritoneal implants
