Course description
After attending the course, the participant will have improved knowledge of clinical research and to publish it and will be more familiar with most common principles of
study design – both treatment and diagnostic test studies- and systematic reviews and meta-analysis. There will be focus on key components of a manuscript and practicalities for choosing publication type and how to prepare an original submission to a scientific journal. Furthermore, the way journals work and how a review process takes place will be addressed. Finally we will cover how to further promote your scientific work along with and after publication and close with future perspectives in the field of how scientific knowledge can and will be will be disseminated.
Target audience
Young clinicians and scientists, people at the onset of their academic career, and who wish to familiarize with present day ideas on how to design a study, how to execute it and how to publish and effectively disseminate the findings.
