 What about bad quality spermatozoa ?
 Cryopreservation has not provided complete protection because motility of the preserved
spermatozoa decreases ~ 50% of their pre-freeze value
 A greater decrease is observed in spermatozoa from infertile patients compared with fertile
patients (Donnelly et al., 2001)
 Finding the spermatozoa after thawing can be labour intensive and time consuming
 For ICSI patients having motile sperm concentrated in thawed specimens would be very valuable
