 Are couples willing to ‘prepare?’
Methods:
Qualitative methods were used to explore ten couples’ perceptions of the acceptability of delaying IVF treatment in order to complete a dietary intervention.
Results:
•Whilst couples were happy to delay treatment for 6 weeks, mixed feelings about further extending delay.
•Influenced by the length of time they had already had to wait to receive treatment.
Conclusion: Couples would be prepared to follow the regime for longer if it may increase chances of conceiving.
