The Rabbit Model: Conclusions

Effective adapted decellularization protocol for both non‐synchronous (NS) and
synchronous (S) uteri:
• Histology and removal DNA & cellular protein fraction.
While in the endometrium drastic changes occur:
• No difference was seen after DC.
• Hydrogel characterization showed differences in fiber thickness and gelling kinetics. • Biological test shown an improved growth on S coating compared to NS and Matrigel
coatings.
• Growth on hydrogels was severely impaired.
ECM substrates retain their specific biochemical cues and represent a new line of investigation in reproductive medicine.
