FSS – a conservative surgical treatment
 uterus and the contra‐lateral ovary are preserved
 Consider endometrial sampling in case of endometrioid and granuloza cell tumors  Appendectomy is recommended in mucinous tumour
FSS in OC is controversial because
 OC staging is surgical
 OC spread is local and hematogenous
 Biopsy of the contralateral ovary cannot r/o cancer cells involvement  Chemotherapy type and dosage is compromised
