We are pleased to unveil the themes for the 2026 ESHRE Research Grants.
ESHRE Research Grants aim to support scientists and clinicians by funding proposals in basic and clinical research in the field of reproductive medicine.
Theme for GRANT 2026-1 is: 'The blastocyst–endometrial dialogue', theme for GRANT 2026-2: 'The impact of adiposity on ART outcomes'.
Expressions of Interest will open in January, but make sure you are prepared to submit your application in time; by reading our guide for applicants to ensure you have all the information ready for submission.


For inclusive fertility care for all

Position statement Coalition for Fertility
The Coalition for Fertility, an alliance of 12 societies including ESHRE, calls for inclusivity in fertility care, ensuring that everyone - regardless of background, identity, or circumstance - has equal access to fertility care across Europe.


WHO releases First-Ever Global Guideline on Infertility

The World Health Organization (WHO) released its first comprehensive guideline on infertility. The recommendations from the WHO guideline for the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of infertility are published in Human Reproduction, and available here: https://doi.org/10.1093/humrep/deaf212

Clinical research in Europe: putting quality and patient safety first

Position statement
The Coalition for Reducing Bureaucracy in Clinical Trials, a broad coalition of research organisations, patient advocates, and medical societies including ESHRE, has published an updated set of recommendations on how to reduce bureaucracy and improve routines and work within clinical trials.
