ESHRE Certification for Reproductive Endoscopic Surgeons

ESHRE and the European Society for Gynaecological Endoscopy (ESGE) have joined forces and are offering a joint certification programme, for its members.
The Gynaecological Endoscopic Surgical Education and Assessment (GESEA) programme is a structured educational programme for Gynaecological Endoscopy. It trains and certifies knowledge and practical skills prior to surgical competence.
The GESEA-ECRES Pathway provides a unique opportunity for gynaecologists with a special interest in reproductive surgery to validate their hysteroscopic and laparoscopic skills and experience, to establish their status as reproductive surgeons, and to join an elite group of specialists.
Why would gynaecologists do it?
- To demonstrate validated knowledge and competence in reproductive endoscopic surgery
- To objectively validate surgical skills through both simulation and theoretical skills within the GESEA pathway
- To obtain a highly recognized European certification from the ESHRE
- To gain formal recognition of surgical expertise within an international professional community
