Joyce Leyden


Studied my undergraduate degree in Biological Sciences (B.Sc.) and Masters in Reproductive Biology (M.Sc.) in the University of Edinburgh, Scotland.
Member of ESHRE, British Fertility Society, Irish Fertility Society and Irish Clinical Embryologists.
Conference presentations to Irish Fertility Society annual meetings (2016, 2015, 2013). Awarded 1st prize for science poster presentation at IFS 2015.

ESHRE clinical embryologist for the past 10 years and currently working as a Senior Embryologist at the Merrion Fertility Clinic (Dublin, Ireland).
An active member of the Irish Clinical Embryologists and in my third term as honorary secretary to the society.

Interests outside of reproductive health include sport; specifically field hockey and long distance running. I have completed 5 marathons to-date and currently training for the Amsterdam marathon this Autumn.

I’m looking forward to taking part in the ESHRE Young Ambassadors project for 2019 and communicating snapshots of the conference to the wider global audience via social media.
