Course description
In this course we aim to provide balanced discussion and information around emerging techniques and technologies to preserve, salvage or even create male fertility.
Target audience
All clinicians, counsellors, scientists, IVF laboratory technicians and paramedicals interested in infertility treatment.
Educational needs and expected outcomes
- Provoke thought and debate on and around emerging options for male patients with fertility threats in ART
- Discuss risks and possible effects on child health
- Explore different meanings and concepts of parenthood
- Examine what options can be offered to male patients now to preserve fertility, providing an update and overview on current best practice
- Consider the patient view and psychological implications and effects in and beyond fertility preservation
