The workshop will bring leading experts together to discuss the clinical aspects (e.g., pain management, bleeding and infertility) as well as basic scientific aspects (e.g., mechanisms of pathogenesis and symptoms) related to adenomyosis.
Translational features, potential application to improved patient care, and other future directions will be discussed.
Target audience
Clinicians, scientists and technical staff working in the field of gynaecology, reproductive biology, endometrial biology, endometriosis and adenomyosis and gynaecological benign disorders.

Innovative aspects of the course
The course will present novel pathogenic theories, novel molecular insights to the mechanisms leading to pain, bleeding, and infertility, and innovative approaches in the diagnosis and surgical management of patients with adenomyosis, covering also the management of young patients.
