Fertility problems associated with endometriosis account for an important part of the diagnosis made in an infertility work-up, although the exact link between the two is not yet fully explained. This Campus course will focus on several epidemiological, pathological and clinical aspects of this association between endometriosis and infertility. First, the course will focus on clarifying the actual impact of endometriosis on infertility and pregnancy, after which new theories on the aetiology of endometriosis-associated infertility will be presented. Next, dilemmas in ART as a treatment for endometriosis-associated infertility will be covered, as well as the impact which different endometriosis sub-types and their management may have on infertility, The course will end with a plenary lecture on rare complications in pregnancy.
Apart from the lectures as described above, there will be ample time for questions and discussion with the audience, as our aim is to improve knowledge through interaction. A poster session will also be included, for which abstracts may be submitted. All selected posters will be displayed and discussed during the poster session, and the best poster will be recognised with a free registration for the next ESHRE Annual Meeting!
