The course is addressed to health care professionals in the field of PGT who wish to learn about genetic counselling. Genetic counselling in PGT requires specific skills, which are hardly included in the standard courses of graduate schools or in postgraduate training courses. During this course participants will learn the basic concepts and characteristics of genetic counselling in PGT, genetic counselling at the different stages of PGT, genetic counselling in case of special indications such as exclusion testing or HLA typing, and the relevance of the psychological support. The course should also cover more advanced genetic counselling in PGT: speakers will be asked to prepare difficult clinical cases for discussions in an interactive way with the participants. Following the transition to a virtual event, the technical sessions, that were originally planned, cannot occur.
