Need or no need for septum incision: that´s the question!

Course description
During this course we will review physiopathology, diagnosis and reproductive outcome of septate uterus, associated pathology and the pros and cons of surgical resection with some tips for consideration during the procedure.
Learning objectives
To clarify the indications for uterine septum resection based on latest scientific evidence.
Target audience
Gynecologists with an interest in adolescent gynecology, human reproduction, and/or minimal invasive surgery
Educational needs and expected outcomes
After the recent publication and subsequent alert in Human Reproduction of the paper by Rikken JFW et al. titled Septum resection in women with a septate uterus: a cohort study, the indications for uterine septum resection will be clarified.
