Stratis Kolibianakis is Associate Professor in Obstetrics-Gynecology and Assisted Reproduction at the Unit for human Reproduction, Medical School, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece (2005- present).
He got his Medical Degree from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki in 1991. He received an MSc in Medical and Pharmaceutical Research in 2002 and a PhD on the optimization of GnRH antagonist stimulation in 2004, both from the Dutch Speaking Brussels Free University in Belgium. He has also received an MSc in Health Unit Administration from the Greek Open University in 2014.
Professor Kolibianakis has published several chapter in books, 150 papers in peer-reviewed scientific journals (PUBMED, September 2017), has 5852 citation (SCOPUS, September 2017) and a Hirsch Index of 45 (SCOPUS, September 2017). He has given more than 180 presentations at international meetings. He is also a reviewer for several international journals in the field of Reproductive Medicine and has been on the editorial boards of Human Reproduction (2005-2009), RBMOnline (2009-present) and Fertility-Sterility (2011-present).
He has served as the coordinator of the Special Interest Group Reproductive Endocrinology (SIG RE) of ESHRE (2012-2014) and he is currently the ChaIr if the SIGs committee at ESHRE.
