Assessment of ovarian reserve forms a key part of the work-up of the infertility patient. It has been a key point of discussion for several years now as there are many different tests that have been suggested over the years. The most important feature of any proposed test ought to be the predictive value in terms of ovarian response (poor or excessive) and clicinal outcome (pregnancy of no pregnancy). this talk aims to systematically address all of these points.
