Draft position on international limits on the number of offspring per gamete donor (stakeholder review version)

ESHRE’s draft position on international limits on the number of offspring per gamete donor is now open for stakeholder review. This position paper describes relevant principles that should be considered in debates surrounding international limits on the number of offspring born from a single gamete donor and sets out ESHRE’s position and policy recommendations on this topic, particularly focusing on the European Union.

The position paper will be open for stakeholder review until 4 January 2026.
