ESHRE evidence-based guideline on viral infection - Update

Open call for applications 

ESHRE invites applications to join the Guideline development group (GDG) for the update of the ESHRE Evidence-based guideline on MAR in patients with a viral infection or disease. This guideline aims to improve patient care for couples with at least one partner affected by a viral disease.

To form a multidisciplinary Working Group, ESHRE particularly welcomes applications from Europe-based professionals with expertise in one or more of the following areas:

  1. MAR clinician/reproductive medicine specialist with experience in treating patients with a viral infection or disease. Knowledge of national or European regulatory requirements is a plus.
  2. Embryologist with experience in handling gametes from patients with a viral infection or disease. Knowledge of national or European regulatory requirements is a plus.
  3. Virologist with experience in advising couples with at least one partner affected by a viral disease wishing to conceive.
  4. Obstetrician with experience in caring for couples with at least one partner affected by a viral disease throughout pregnancy and delivery.

The final composition of the GDG will be determined by ESHRE, taking into consideration expertise, geographical representation, and balance within the group. GDG members will be expected to actively contribute to several online meetings over a period of 12-18 months and one in-person meeting, review documents, and support the drafting and revision of project outputs.
