Verena Ehrbar, Deputy

Verena Ehrbar works as clinical psychologist and PostDoc researcher at the Women's University Hospital Basel. Her clinical work includes counselling and psychotherapy with patients and couples affected by infertility. Her scientific work started with her PhD (2014-2017) where she found her interest in the psychological impact on fertility preservation in cancer patients. Since then, she works continuously in various research projects to learn more about the needs of patients regarding oncofertility issues and how to support them best. She has authored many articles regarding this topic. Furthermore she is senior deputy of the special interest group psychology and counselling of ESHRE and president of FertiForum, a national sub-committee of the swiss society of reproductive medicine.
