Mariana Moura Ramos, Coordinator-elect

MS Psychology, Ph.D. She is the Director of the Clinical Psychology Unit of the Coimbra Hospital and Universitary Centre and she works as a clinical psychologist and psychotherapist in the reproductive medicine unit of the same hospital. She is a Researcher of the Centre for Neuropsychology and Cognitive Behavioural Intervention of the University of Coimbra. Her research interests are focused on the psychosocial individual and couple impact of infertility, decision making in fertility preservation in oncological patients and transgender people and fertility education and awareness. She was one of the founders and the first president of the Psychology group of the Portuguese Society for Reproductive Medicine (2016-2019). She was also on the Advisory Board of the Portuguese Society for Reproductive Medicine (2019-2022). She acted as Associate Editor of Human Reproduction and currently is Associate Editor of Human Reproduction Open. She is a member of The International Fertility Education Initiative (IFEI).
