EFRM

ESHRE's collaboration with the European Board and College of Obstetrics and Gynaecology (EBCOG) goes back almost 20 years in setting a syllabus for subspecialty training in reproductive medicine. Now, in a move to enhance this collaboration further and validate individual skills and training in reproductive medicine, ESHRE is introducing a subspecialty examination in which successful candidates will become European Fellows of Reproductive Medicine (EFRM) and qualified to use the title EFRM‐ESHRE/EBCOG.

The examination aims to assess the knowledge and skills gained by candidates during their subspecialty training in reproductive medicine and provide formal recognition of them.

The ESHRE/EBCOG examination will be in two parts:
  • Part 1 a knowledge based assessment process
  • Part 2 an objective clinical examination

Candidates will sit the Part 2 examination after they have passed Part 1.

The next Part 1 examination will be held at the Bella Center during ESHRE’s Annual Meeting in Copenhagen, Denmark. The exact exam date still needs to be confirmed.

The next Part 2 examination will be held on 21 November 2019 in Brussels, Belgium.
