Course description
This Precongress Course will focus on several innovative novel technologies that are changing the landscape of the tools available to perform in vitro modelling on relevant aspects of human reproduction and fertility. We will compare the use of mesenchymal stem cell versus pluripotent stem cells in human reproduction and provide an update on the current use of human embryonic stem cells in the Europe. The scientific topics to be discussed include updates on gene-editing in human embryos, advances in human embryo-like structures, microfluidics in devising artificial ovaries and how single-cell sequencing is contributing to a cell atlas of the ovary.

This course will:
- review future how novel technologies could impact human reproduction
- discuss the use of mesenchymal stem cells and pluripotent stem cells
