Course description
With this webinar on niPGT, an updated overview on the topic will be given. The speakers will address how to validate the technique, the criticalities encountered, and the results obtained. The course touches upon the different types of PGT indications (niPGT-A/SR and niPGT-M). For both techniques, the course will elaborate on the best protocol to use. Finally, possible implementations to increase the accuracy of the analysis will be discussed.
Target audience
PGT practitioners, geneticist and embryologists
Expected educational outcomes
Attendees will:
- learn about non-invasive genetic assessment of preimplantation embryos
- learn about cell-free embryonic DNA and the possible issues that arise with cfDNA analysis
- learn how to check that niPGt is performed in the correct way to avoid contamination with DNA foreign to the embryo, to assess the presence of possible chromosomal mosaicism and/or to avoid degradation of cfDNA
- learn about the different PGT indications and the possibilities niPGT can offer
