The use of donor-assisted conception is growing, as well as the availability and use of direct-to-consumer genetic testing (DNA testing, ancestry and other DNA databases).
This changing environment requires that recipients/intended parents, donors and offspring receive relevant and appropriate information and guidance with regards to donor-conception.
The paper “GOOD PRACTICE RECOMMENDATIONS FOR INFORMATION PROVISION FOR THOSE USING AND PARTICIPATING IN REPRODUCTIVE DONATION”, that outlines the implications of direct-to-consumer genetic testing for those involved in donor-assisted conception and provides recommendations for information provision, is now open for stakeholder review.
The stakeholder review is now closed, thank you to all reviewers who participated. All comments will be assessed and the paper will be amended where appropriate.
