Description
This webinar will explore the historical neglect of male reproductive health in medical research, public health policy, and societal discourse. In addition, it will present current initiatives aimed at advancing the development and adoption of new male contraceptive methods. It will highlight the role of the World Health Organization in research support, policy development, and international collaboration to expand contraceptive options and promote shared responsibility in family planning.
The Male Reproductive Health Initiative (MRHI) is a global collaboration dedicated to advancing the science and practice of male reproductive medicine. MRHI pursues its mission by supporting high-quality research in both basic and clinical science, fostering partnerships with professional societies to promote education, and advocating for male reproductive health among stakeholders—including patient support groups, funding agencies, nonprofit organisations, industry, and the public.
Needs assessment process and derived educational needs
During this webinar, participants will explore the long-standing neglect of male reproductive health and its far-reaching implications for public health.
