Dr Gemma Arroyo

Gemma Arroyo is Senior embryologist and MSc and PhD on Cellular Biology. Currently she is co-responsible of the IVF laboratory at Hospital Quirón Dexeus Barcelona. Her main fields of interest are oocyte in vitro maturation, early stages of embryo development and embryo scoring, as well as the management, organization and development of the laboratory. She does teaching activity in many masters and universities. She has been Senior deputy of the groups of interest in embryology of the scientific societies Association for the Study of the Reproductive Biology (ASEBIR) and the Spanish Society of Fertility (SEF), performing many multicenter studies, guidelines and publications. Sience 2024 she is Immediate Past-Coodinator of Special Interest Group of Embryology of the European Society of Human Reproduction and Embryology (ESHRE).
