ESHRE Good Practice Recommendation for Routine Psychosocial care in MAR - Update

Open call for applications

ESHRE invites applications to join the Working Group developing the ESHRE Good Practice Recommendation for Routine Psychosocial care in MAR, which will update the ESHRE guideline published in 2015. The updated document aims to provide practical recommendations for fertility centres on integrating routine psychosocial care across the MAR pathway.

The project is already underway, and ESHRE is seeking additional members to support the next phase of the work, including evidence interpretation and synthesis, drafting of recommendations, and review of project outputs.

Applications are invited from professionals based in Europe and with relevant clinical and research expertise for the following profiles:

  1. Psychologist or counsellor with experience in infertility, fertility counselling, psychosocial care in MAR, or psychosocial support for individuals and couples undergoing fertility treatment.
  2. ART clinician/ reproductive medicine specialist with experience in MAR treatments, patient-centred ART care, treatment decision-making, communication around treatment burden and multidisciplinary fertility care.
  3. Fertility nurse - midwife with experience in fertility/MAR care, patient education, counselling pathways, care coordination or implementation of patient-centred care in fertility services.

For all profiles, experience in evidence-based practice and research is required.

Selected members will join an established working group and will be expected to actively contribute to several online meetings over a period of 12 months and one in-person meeting, review documents, and support the drafting and revision of project outputs.
